Visitors can stop over at Ellenberger's Cave House where they can see the Dinosaur Footprints. There is a guided tour to the ruins of the historical Mount. Moorosi fortress, where Chief Moorosi fought a battle against the Cape Mounted Rifles. Gymnogene and rare Bearded Vultures are often sighted in this area, and there is a breathtaking view of the Senqu River.
"The Place of the Bushmen" has the most spectacular Bushman Paintings. There is a camping site situated at Ha Job village in the Basotho. Visitors can explore the Mokoaes valley and Letsies Lake. Then one can stay the night at Ha Tlhaku, where Chief Mpiti will host them in his Basotho village, situated on top of the world.
This route encompasses some of the southern tours of Mafeteng and Mohale'hoekt. A diversion can be made at Mohale's Hoek to see the cannibal caves of Motlejoa. Taking the road to Quthing, negative, or indented, dinosaur footprints can be seen at Masitise cave. Positive, or raised, dinosaur footprints can be found at Moyeni, which prove to be the climax of the tour.
